Blood Axe Ork Standard Bearer

As I mentioned a post or two ago, my hobby time has been greatly diminished and I've done next to stuff all painting...a lot of collecting and paint stripping though.

Anyway, here's the latest piece completed- a Rogue Trader Space Ork Battle Standard Bearer

Since I have collections of Blood Angel and Space Wolf Marines I decided to paint the Beakie helmets in their respective colours.
More to come soon!

  1. Looks awesome, Bruno. Good choice for the marine trophy helmets. Looking forward to seeing more.

  2. Excellent work dude, those old school blood axes are brilliant. Nice little touch with the helmets too.

    1. Ta mate, I love all the little Iron Crosses and medals they're adorned with- things I never really noticed before painting. I didn't really know what was on the banner/trophy rack (besides the obvious MK6 helmets) until I got paint on it.

  5. Bruno is back in town! As ever love the paint job! I have started painting my own blood axe force in no small way inspired by yours. Completed so far is one gretchin. Hard to balance the red (which I think you do so well) against the quite neutral grey. I've been hunting that standard bearer but as of no avail yet - pretty much confined to trade for the mo
