WHFB 4th edition Night Goblin Shaman

I painted this guy almost exactly like the one pictured in the 4th ed books, save for some tricky bits on his sleeves and some colour variation.

The mini actually had a flattened nose and I used a minor greenstuff spell to perform some rhinoplasty.

It's a real shame this guy is (as far as I can tell) next to useless in game, as my poor, beloved little Gobbos don't get their level bonus when testing on the 'eadbang chart.

Squat Pirate

Yes folks, I still exist and I still find a little time to paint little tin soldiers.

Here's my latest noteworthy accomplishment, one of the fantastic Squat Pirate range.

First post in months and the last one for the year

It's been four slack months since I've posted anything!
Why?
Work, work and more work.
Thankfully the springtime boom is over, and I'm enjoying some time off-which I've spent getting stuck into the painting!

So, here's my next batch of Blood Axes

While I haven't been doing any painting, I've been doing plenty of ebaying, and I've gotten lots of nice shiny things for my Orks.
I'll never scrounge for arms again either!

I've also started collecting Dark Horse TMNT minis.
Here are the first ones completed- Casey Jones, The Fugitoid and a Triceraton.
They all came from the one blister pack.
I'm still undecided as to how I will finally base them.

Finally, here's a WIP of an old Citadel Giant I'm going to add to my Night Goblin horde.

Well, thanks for looking/reading- wishing everybody all the best in the New Year!

An alternate Blood Angel Captain

Right, so instead of putting the finishing touches to a batch of Orks I fished this guy out of the new acquisitions/freshly stripped pile and painted him last night.
Turns out that under the magnified lens of the camera he's still a bit rough in places but overall I'm pretty happy.

Blood Axe Ork Standard Bearer

As I mentioned a post or two ago, my hobby time has been greatly diminished and I've done next to stuff all painting...a lot of collecting and paint stripping though.

Anyway, here's the latest piece completed- a Rogue Trader Space Ork Battle Standard Bearer

Since I have collections of Blood Angel and Space Wolf Marines I decided to paint the Beakie helmets in their respective colours.
More to come soon!

Epic Battle Report/Blog Plug

Right kids, stop snogging and listen up- my esteemed comrade Captain Crooks has done a fantastic job on writing up a battle report of a game he had (commanding Space Dwarfs and Imperial allies)against the insidious Archaeopteryx and his fiendish (and beautifully painted) Genestealer Cult.

Do yourself a favour, and check it out on Crooksie's blog
Covenant Of Terror

As for me, my painting output has taken a real blow due to work, but in the next week or so I should have some more Blood Axe Orks ready to show off.

Booyakasha!

Even more Blood Axes

Here we are again with another lot of Blood Axe Orks.
First up, the Boys
The personality I painted up with this batch is a Painboy
And some Grot assistants for good measure
this guy will accompany the Mekboy
and this one will assist the Warboss. He has plans!
