Squat Pirate

Yes folks, I still exist and I still find a little time to paint little tin soldiers.

Here's my latest noteworthy accomplishment, one of the fantastic Squat Pirate range.

  1. Great ! I had some of those and didn't know they were uncataogued and wanted so I traded them for nothing about 3 or 4 years ago...
Your example is very nice with just enough colours to make him look like a pirate but with elements to tie him in the 40k universe. brilliant !

  3. Glad to see you're still around fella! I've also not seen this mini before - the horned hat gives him a Viking vibe too. Nice paint job :)

  6. Sigh, back when I was around 11 or 12 (IIRC) my Dad took me GW in Croydon while they had a sale on, and he brought me about 10 packs of the Squat Pirates blisters.

Had them for a few years, tried to put them together, but being a young teenager, lost patience with the ultra fiddly arms and guns and got rid of them.

Which now seeing what they are worth, I weep.....

Nice work on him by the way.
